Job Description
Post-Operative Care: Providing care to patients who have undergone heart surgeries such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), heart valve replacements, or heart transplants.
Monitoring and Assessment: Closely monitoring patients’ vital signs (e.g., heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels), and identifying any complications such as arrhythmias or signs of heart failure.
Medication Administration: Administering medications like sedatives, pain relievers, anticoagulants, and drugs to stabilize blood pressure or treat other cardiac conditions.

Located in Omaha, Nebraska, this 396-bed acute care hospital has a long history dating back to its founding in 1870. Originally established as St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital, it became part of the CHI Health network in 2012. The hospital is affiliated with Creighton University, serving as a teaching facility for various health programs, including medicine, pharmacy, nursing, and dentistry. Offering a wide range of services, it provides emergency care, surgical procedures, inpatient and outpatient treatments, and specialized medical services. Trauma services were relocated to another campus in 2017, further expanding its capacity to care for the community.
