COVID-19 Updates and Resources for Travel Nurses

COVID-19 Updates and Resources for Travel Nurses

To our healthcare professionals, agency clients, travelers, remote team members, and friends of Wanderly,

We want to take a moment to let you all know that during this time Wanderly is here for you, and we are actively participating in recommended measures to protect our community and slow the spread of covid-19. Here at Wanderly, we are especially sensitive to and constantly monitoring the ever-changing medical updates as we navigate how to best serve our traveling healthcare providers. Traveling healthcare is an integral part of patient care in the United States, and we understand that many of our travelers cannot stop working, are unable to take time off, and are working through uncharted conditions. We thank you, and the Wanderly team and our partners will continue our mission of delivering quality services during a time where the human instinct is to retreat.

To our Wanderly travelers, we want you to know how much we appreciate you, care about your well-being, and are providing specific measures we are taking to keep you safe, financially stable, healthy, and supported in a time where your skills are needed more than ever.

We thank each and every healthcare provider for your service today and all days. We understand that you may be under-equipped, short staffed, placed in uncomfortably close quarters with an illness that is new to all of us. We recognize your sacrifice as you leave your families and friends behind to be so noble as to take care of your fellow community members. This is not lost on us. You are appreciated. You are thanked. You are our heroes. We are here to support you in any way possible.

During this time:

  1. Please call your Wanderly support team at any time with any questions about your assignment, agency, or future plans at 1-800-556-8104.
  2. Know that if you are looking to travel during this time, we have rapid response positions available on Wanderly.us to assist in combating covid-19 and continue income flow for our healthcare professionals.
  3. We are continuously updating guidelines according to the CDC, and will provide you with up-to-date information on the latest coronavirus news.

If you have additional questions or concerns please contact us without hesitation. We will continue to update this page as we get more information.

Kindly,

Nurse Kelley and Wanderly Leadership
